Chelsea duo Malo Gusto and Liam Delap could be the subject of bids from other teams before the transfer window closes, according to reports.

Writing on his Substack, journalist Simon Phillips said that Gusto is being lined up as a potential replacement for Denzel Dumfries at Serie A champions Inter Milan.

The Frenchman joined the Blues from Lyon for €35m (£30m), including add-ons, but his form over the past twelve months has been pretty poor at club level.

Gusto is not one of the seven players that the club deem “untouchable”, which means manager Xabi Alonso may sanction his sale if Inter make a large enough offer this summer.

What is the situation with Delap?

The 23-year-old scored just 2 goals following his £30m move from Ipswich Town last year, and Phillips believes there is a chance that he could be reunited with his former boss Kieran McKenna.

The Ipswich manager is one of the favourites to replace Marco Silva at Fulham, and following Raul Jimenez’s departure from Craven Cottage, a new striker is a top priority.

With that being the case, McKenna may well advocate a move for Delap, who is regarded as dispensable by the Blues.

Who else could be leaving Chelsea?

Number two Filip Jorgensen has already requested a move in order to get first-team football, and the club won’t stand in his way.

Asking prices have also been set for the likes of Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella, while Axel Disasi is on the market once again following his return from West Ham.

A buyer may need to be found for Tyrique George if Everton don’t take up their option to sign him on a permanent basis before the end of the month. David Datro Fofana is also surplus to requirements.
