Chelsea are open to offloading Alejandro Garnacho at the end of the season, according to reports.

TalkSPORT claim that the Blues are “willing to sell” the Argentinian international less than a year after his £40m move from Manchester United.

Garnacho has struggled for form since his switch to Stamford Bridge, having scored just one Premier League goal.

The 21-year-old has found the back of the net 7 times in other competitions, but he has not managed to convince the two managers he has worked under this season, Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior.

It is believed the club’s hierarchy now accept that the move has not worked out and they will listen to offers this summer.

Garnacho has dropped hints on social media

The winger made headlines last week when he removed all Chelsea videos from his TikTok account before then reposting two clips from his time at Manchester United.

It does suggest that Garnacho is not particularly happy with how things have gone since his move to London either.

He came on as a substitute during Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to his former club, United, on Saturday evening, but he was not able to prevent his team from suffering a defeat.

Chelsea are already eyeing his replacement

It does look like the Blues’ co-sporting directors, Paul Winstanley and Lawrence Stewart, have identified a player to bring in if Garnacho does depart during the summer transfer window.

FC Cologne’s Said El Mala is on the club’s radar, but reports in the German media suggest the 19-year-old’s valuation is as high as €50m (£43.5m).

They could potentially sacrifice Garnacho in order to raise the funds necessary to secure the talented teenager’s signature.
