{"id":7959,"date":"2026-06-10T09:22:37","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T09:22:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zeeworld.name.ng\/?p=7959"},"modified":"2026-06-10T09:22:37","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T09:22:37","slug":"liverpools-greatest-no-73-tom-bromilow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zeeworld.name.ng\/?p=7959","title":{"rendered":"Liverpool&#8217;s Greatest &#8211; No.73: Tom Bromilow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Tom Bromilow proved to be one of Liverpool\u2019s \u2018luckiest signings\u2019, appearing from out of the blue to win two league championships.<\/p>\n<p>Formerly of the army, Bromilow approached the Reds as the First World War ended and asked for a trial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe came to the ground in uniform during the war and asked for a game\u2026 and was an instant success,\u201d recalled club secretary George Patterson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the war ended, he signed as a professional. Eventually he took his place in the first team.
