On the first anniversary of the victory parade incident in Liverpool city centre, here is a reminder of a variety of free mental health support services available to anyone struggling a year on.<\/p>\n

The thoughts of everyone at Liverpool FC continue to be with those affected by this terrible incident.<\/p>\n
Help and support is available via:<\/p>\n
\nVictim Care Merseyside<\/strong> \u2013 call 0808 175 3080 between 8am and 6pm. <\/li>\nCall Samaritans on 116 123 or visit www.samaritans.org<\/strong> for 24-hour listening support. <\/li>\nFor immediate text-based support \u2013 text SHOUT to 85258. <\/li>\n NHS Talking Therapies at Merseycare \u2013 get in touch on 0151 228 2300 or via the website: www.merseycare.nhs.uk\/our-services\/liverpool\/talking-therapies<\/strong>. <\/li>\nAnyone in need of immediate support with a mental health crisis can call 111 and select the mental health option to access urgent mental health support.<\/strong> <\/li>\nFor emergency help \u2013 if you or someone you know is in immediate danger, dial 999.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\nLocal GPs can also help with mental health and wellbeing. Plus, there is more information on Kind to your Mind Liverpool<\/strong>which is managed by Liverpool City Council\u2019s public health team, together with the NHS.<\/p>\nIt has some hints and tips on how to look after mental health, particularly after experiencing trauma, including:<\/p>\n
