Derby No.1 was held at Goodison Park on October 13, 1894 and won 3-0 by Everton.<\/p>\n

Exactly five weeks later, Anfield hosted its first Merseyside derby and this time it ended in a 2-2 draw, with David Hannah<\/strong> and Jimmy Ross<\/strong> the Liverpool goalscorers \u2013 the latter from a last-minute penalty.<\/p>\n

Of course, the vast majority of the 247 fixtures to date between Liverpool and Everton were subsequently played at either of those two grounds.<\/p>\n

However, they have met at four neutral venues too.<\/p>\n

Villa Park was the location for their FA Cup semi-final tie on the last day of March 1906, where Everton prevailed 2-0.<\/p>\n

It would be 44 years before the fourth different derby venue: Maine Road.<\/p>\n

Again it was an FA Cup semi-final that brought the two teams against each other on neutral turf, on March 25, 1950.<\/p>\n

But this time, Liverpool were the winners; Bob Paisley<\/strong> and Billy Liddell<\/strong> supplied goals in either half for a 2-0 victory.<\/p>\n
