Everybody is aware of what I think about her and how highly I regard her. This is what happens with goalkeepers and it can happen.
We should have defended it better before the free header came in. But Jennifer will grow from that and she doesn’t worry about those things and she resets very quickly and we will all support her with that.
But overall, there is lots to be proud of and lots to take heart from, because we came up against a very good opponent and, apart from a couple of very good saves from Jennifer, we restricted them to very little.
On Sunday we face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup semi-finals at St Helens Stadium.
We know Brighton are a tough challenge. They have had some really good results recently and both our games against them this season have been draws.
In the WSL game at St Helens, we really had that game in the bag and then conceded in stoppage time, which was frustrating.
This is a really good opportunity for us to really give our fantastic supporters something to hold onto. I really think a Wembley visit would be just reward for everyone at the club and all of our supporters.
